Rubbermaid LunchBlox Kits Review and Giveaway! {3 WINNERS}

by Dawn on August 13, 2012

Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit saves space and stays organized in any lunch bag!

Rubbermaid LunchBlox makes packing lunch easier than ever. The containers are easy to snap together! They are perfectly portioned for your favorite lunch foods with handy measurements on the sides of each container. Your lunch stays chilled with snap in Blue Ice Pack!

I especially love that the ice pack comes with the kit and how it all snaps together like legos. Also, the Blue Ice attaches onto either the top or bottom of the kit! The small snack containers hold about 3oz. The middle size container holds 3/4 cups and the sandwich container will hold about 1 1/2 cups or a little more. If you use larger bread you may have to smash your sandwich just a bit to get the lid closed. If you are using wonder bread or a smaller bread like that it will fit just fine!  Personally, I think this kit will work perfect for my daughter’s lunch! She is 5 so we made sure she would be able to get the lids off herself and she had no problem! She is super excited to use it on the first day of school.

The features of this product include:
~ Modular containers snap together in to save space in your lunch bag.
~ Kit includes specially designed Blue Ice™ pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep lunches chilled on the go!
~ Containers are perfectly portioned for lunch foods commonly carried away from home.
~ Microwave-, dishwasher- and freezer-safe and BPA-free.
~ The Sandwich Kit includes a sandwich container sized for regular and specialty breads, two snack containers and a snack container (perfect for fruits, vegetables and chips and dip!)

The LunchBlox Sandwich Kit run about $12.99! However, prices at retail may vary and are controlled by the retailer. They are currently available for purchase at Rubbermaid.com, Target, Kmart, Kroger, Safeway, Bi-Lo, Winn-Dixie, HEB, other grocery stores and select Wal-Mart stores!

I showed my daughter these in the store after I saw your blog. At this point we’ve been using plastic baggies for snacks and a reusable container for her sandwiches. She would always tell me that we are wasting too much and when I pointed these out she told me “We need to get them all!” I think she is onto something because I know the sandwich would work for her and the entree and salad for her dad and I.

I love the salad kit one because I love eating salads but it is hard to take them with you and not end up with either a bunch of loose container to keep everything fresh and crispy or you end up with soggy salad.

I do wonder if he will be able to open the lids easy. He is only 5. I did see that the little atleast are not leakproof.

Luckily my kids weren’t big into testing out the toilet, but my child did frequently put in whole rolls of TP…so awful to pull out!
