Spooooky Centerpiece for Halloween!

by Dawn on October 20, 2014

Ghostly lollipops – Use a Blow Pop or Tootsie Roll Pop, and place it top down in the middle of a paper towel or tissue paper. Pull the tissue paper up over the pop, and secure with string or yarn. I didn’t have any handy so I just used tape. Leave the bottom loose so that it resembles a ghost when turned right side up. Draw a ghostly face with a black marker.

Spooky Tree – Use a brown lunch bag full the bottom with rocks. Twist the bag in the middle and cut strip at the top. Crinkle the “branches” to make it a spooky tree!

For the base I used a Glade container and poked holes in the bottom to hold the ghosts.

So easy and the kids will love it!

The Teal Pumpkin Project!

Have you heard of the The Teal Pumpkin Project? Do you have children who suffer from food allergies? FARE is encouraging food allergy families to start a new tradition by painting a pumpkin teal and placing it on your porch as a sign to other families managing food allergies that you have non-food treats available at your home.

Help by purchasing inexpensive non-food treats to hand out! Glow bracelets, pencils, sticky hands {my girls love these},  spider rings, vampire teeth, mini notepads are just a few items that can be purchased pretty cheap to handout this Halloween!

Print out FARE’s teal pumpkin poster to post next to your door to notify visitors that you are handing out non-food items in support of all children with food allergies.

For more information visit the FARE Blog HERE!
